Welcome back!!!

You were expecting us earlier as promised right? We apologize for the lateness. That week 2 task was a banger.

I know you've been waiting for our progress so far and you probably have a lot of questions.

Not to worry. Your No 1 finance app has a lot in store for you so all you have to do is take a seat and make yourself comfortable because we have a long way to go.

Let's go.

After week one's task, we were all feeling like Kings and Queens (You know that feeling when you've successfully finished all you have to do). Then the task for week 2 dropped and all we could say was (SideHustle abeg!); It was so obvious that we had to do more.

Do you know the amazing part?

Immediately every member of the team saw the task they all put on their smart cap and swung into action (No time to waste at all). These guys are not joking at all. Have a look at what we did:

The ever diligent Graphics Designing Team did an amazing job though the week was really trying for them. There was a lot of back and forth due to design issues and personnel joining the team late and requiring these guys to remake team flyers (That was a lot of work but we move). Due to the rebrand we had this week, they had to come up with a new logo with different color variations; you really need to see how beautiful the new logo is, the color combo is fire! At last, after so much work, they finally came up with the Team flyers and also collaborated with the Content Creation Team to come up with astonishing designs for each of the social media platform.

As if that wasn't enough.

Guess what???? I told you these guys were not calming down at all.

The style guide for the Brand Book would be ready soon! That's great.

I know you're expecting me to tell you what a Brand book is;

Not yet. Till Next Week

Anticipate!

As usual, the Digital Marketing Team came up with exceptional and creative writing skills. These people came together with their unique brains to come up with contents that are in line with both the Strategy and Content Calendar. Honestly, those contents were really engaging; kudos to this team. One of the tasks was to have at least 100 followers on each of the platforms; you'd be surprised to see the strategy that has been put in place to achieve this. I salute you all.

Special accolades to the Product Designing Team(UI/UX). No doubt, those guys deserve a standing ovation. Wait a minute, I think they got jealous after the Backend developers got the best team of the week for week 1 because the comeback these guys gave was lit.

You know what? I always knew they were going to shock everyone because they have too much pride. They always want to do things in a different way, they don't follow the crowd.

They started by doing a lot of brainstorming to come up with a proper user research plan (including the research goal, user persona and so on). They also went ahead and conducted a survey using Google forms and after careful analysis they collaborated with the product managers to have the product features and requirements.

The coolest thing was that they were able to complete their work on low fidelity wireframes on figma files.

Take a look at this work of art.

And guess what? Just as they wanted, they became the team of the week for week 2. Sincerely, these guys worked really hard to earn this. They are the real boss.

There's this particular team that derives joy in scattering our heads with terminologies that you'll just sweat to understand and I'm like (Oh Lord, what's going on). Everything is just about data this data that but you know what? These guys actually know what they are doing, they are exceptional.

Give it up for the Mobile App Development Team!

Every member of the team started by creating GitHub accounts, then they had a productive meeting with the Product Managers assigned to their group. They were also able to set up API for authentication and presently they are at the final stage of implementing 50% of the UI and API's, the screens have been built and now it's been merged on the repo carefully to avoid merge conflict.

You're probably wondering what it is they are doing (don't bother).

But trust me; these guys are good!

Lastly, we have the ever amazing Product Management Team. Each member has been added to a subteam to oversee what is going on and then give a report to the rest of the team via The Product Management tool work space (JIRA).

Kudos to you guys!

That's all for this week.

What do you think?

We're making progress right?

See you next week.
